Costa Barcelona - Costa Brava - Espanha
Located between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, this area in northeastern Spain is home to the city of Barcelona, but it's also much more than that. If you are a nature lover, you will find the coast of Barcelona (with more than 100 kilometers of golden sand and such lively cities as Sitges) and spaces like the Pyrenees and the Montseny Biosphere Reserve. If you love culture, you will be able to enjoy Modernism treasures and medieval castles.
Barcelona is also synonymous with gastronomic excellence (accompanied by its wines and its famous cava), exclusive shops, traditional festivals. Its beaches, with golden sand and crystalline waters, have all kinds of services and are characterized by variety, ranging from very long ones, like Calella, Santa Susanna and Castelldefels, to small coves like La Vinyeta and Garraf.
Costa Barcelona and Costa Brava have many marinas and companies offering activities and services such as sailing, canoeing, surfing and rowing, boat rental and personal watercraft. Being situated between the Mediterranean and the mountains, it has a climate of hot summers and mild winters and preserves amazing landscapes, such as the Montserrat Mountain Nature Reserve, the Llobregat Delta and Garraf Park. Art lovers will find examples of modernism like the Colonia Güell in Santa Coloma de Cervelló, designed by Gaudí.
